Angie Hoffmeister is an artist from Düsseldorf who works in oils, ink, marker, and other media. Her work has a large focus on narrative and fantasy themes. While her drawings have a lot of line work and attention to the pen itself, her paintings have a focus on children and imagination and/or fantasy. The bold colors have a mix of softer yellows, which I have been dipping my toes into for a while. Her paintings also have a very personal quality to them, suggesting a memory or a fantasy related to her childhood.
